Isabella Georgiou is a Doctoral Researcher in the Joint PhD Programme in Integrated Management of Water, Soil, and Waste between Technische Universität Dresden and UNU-FLORES.
Isabella is currently working under the SMART-WaterDomain project and her focus is on identifying opportunities and challenges for wastewater use in the industrial setting under a private-public partnership. She is working on a barrier analysis and a life cycle assessment, with the aim of co-developing a Decision Support System that would facilitate the reuse of urban water by companies and promote urban sustainability. Before joining UNU-FLORES, Isabella worked as a research assistant at TU Dresden and UNU-FLORES, where she worked on sustainability assessments of wastewater in agriculture and on the sustainable use of water in the supply chain systems.
