The United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), in partnership with the UN agencies in Malaysia, hosts the seminar series “Working Local, Thinking Global: Engaging Evidence in Policy Making towards the SDGs.”

On 19 May at 14:00 (UTC+8), the series will welcome International Labour Organization (ILO) Representative Jodelen Mitra who will discuss the ILO’s work in Malaysia towards advancing the SDGs.

Now in its third year, the series provides a forum for intellectual discussion about the work of the UN towards the achievement of the SDGs and brings together academics, researchers, and civil society members from across Malaysia to meet and engage with their counterparts in the UN system.

The event will be hosted on Zoom (register here) and live-streamed on UNU-IIGH social networks including YouTubeTwitter, and LinkedIn.
