Time
- Asia/Tokyo

Water and sanitation for all is an urgent issue on the international policy agenda and one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In reality, however, ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water is a difficult task to achieve, in particular in fast-growing cities.

On 25 October, the UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS). will host the webinar "Sustainable Water Resources Management in Asian Cities: Challenges & Opportunities".

Focusing on a case study of Visakhapatnam City in Andhra Pradesh, India, this international webinar will examine key water management challenges and opportunities faced by cities experiencing rapid industrialization. The event will explore how effective policies can improve water management without sacrificing economic development.

Advance registration for this event is required. For event updates, please visit the UNU-IAS website.
