On 21 January 2026, UNU, in collaboration with the Learning Planet Institute and UNESCO, will host an online panel discussion featuring Junior Fellows from the UNU Paris Office and the Office of the Rector at UNU Headquarters in Tokyo. ​The event is part of the LearningPlanet Festival, which is organized each January to celebrate the International Day of Education. This online event will be held via Zoom webinar at 09:00 (UTC 0).

The panel discussion will offer students and early-career professionals a unique opportunity to hear directly from Junior Fellows about their academic journeys, professional experiences, the development of new skills and knowledge, and the dynamic workplace culture of UNU. Panelists will share their meaningful contributions to the work of UNU and the UN system as a whole, and discuss how these experiences are shaping their future career paths. ​The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A segment, encouraging direct dialogue between panelists and participants.
