The project aims to develop a comprehensive framework for measuring digital inclusion, focusing on creating and validating clear metrics that assess the inclusiveness of digital technologies. This initiative responds to the urgent need for policy frameworks that enhance social and economic inclusion, particularly for traditionally marginalized groups. Through a detailed exploration of case studies and multi-stakeholder consultations, the project seeks to establish a global standard for digital inclusivity metrics that can guide policymakers worldwide.

Activities

  • Analyse current metrics and case studies globally to assess the scope of digital inclusion and identify effective practices and gaps in the data.

  • Conduct consultations with various stakeholders including the private sector, civil society, and international organizations to gather diverse perspectives and insights on digital inclusion.

  • Develop detailed, actionable recommendations for policymakers on incorporating digital inclusion metrics into their policy evaluations and project approvals.

  • Organize a Validation Workshop at the Digital Future Society Summit to discuss, refine, and validate the proposed digital inclusion metrics and framework with international experts and stakeholders.
