The project aimed to address the global concern surrounding the construction of Knowledge Societies by providing methodological support through the development of a comprehensive Handbook. This Handbook served three primary objectives: firstly, to update and transform existing publications into a modernized "Knowledge Society Policy Handbook"; secondly, to establish a digital platform for knowledge sharing, facilitating the exchange of tools, resources, and case studies to support the development and implementation of Knowledge Society policies; and thirdly, to foster a global research and policy community around this platform, encouraging collaboration and adoption of effective strategies across different contexts and levels of development.
