The envisaged impact of the project related to the establishment of Government 3.0 as a vivid scientific domain, encompassing Electronic Government, ICT-enabled Governance and Digital Government towards decision support for public value creation. The Universities were to strengthen their capabilities as providers of high-level education in this important area of e-government and become members of a big e-governance network. Citizens, too, benefited in the long term due to the developments coming from the knowledge produced by this partnership.
Activities
Set a worldwide baseline for the entire project in terms of knowledge already generated in the field of ICT-enabled governance and, with the help of the network of affiliated public organizations.
Set the research and knowledge roadmap of the area of Government 3.0.
Create state-of-the-art course curricula and modules.
Development of the platform, which will host the online training material and project activities.
Develop a novel Massive Online Open Course.
Provide support to potential entrepreneurs, promoting the notion of entrepreneurship among students and organizing specific activities to support ideas that may become businesses.
Organise and implement exchange activities among the project partners.
Disseminate the project results and create awareness in the scientific and entrepreneurial communities.
