UNU-EGOV at the Pan-Hellenic Scientific Congress of Health Care Services Management

UNU-EGOV at HHSMA Congress: papers on hospital websites, honourable mention.

UNU-EGOV was present at the Pan-Hellenic Scientific Congress of Health Care Services Management, having presented our papers, “Assessment of Greek Hospitals Using HSWAI” and “Comparison of Greek and Portuguese Hospital Websites using HSWAI”, earning us an Honourable Mention.

The organizer, the Hellenic Health Services Management Association (HHSMA), aims to cultivate, deepen and promote Health Management and Economics Science and promote research and education in this sector. It also aims at the scientific, working, professional and cultural development and upgrade of healthcare executives who deal with Health Management and Economics to further cultivate their scientific knowledge and constant training.

Among HHSMA’s activities is the organization of this annual Pan-Hellenic Scientific Congress of Health Care Services Management, an event that had its 25th edition last year, under the care of the Greek Ministry of Health. It has grown internationally, gaining recognition among healthcare professionals, with more than one thousand delegates actively participating in the conference annually.

Regular participants include academics and professionals specialized in financial, social or law sciences, enterprise or social management, information technology, medicine, dentistry, pharmaceutics, nursing, mechanics or other sciences relevant to the ones mentioned above, hospital management or health services management, who work on health management and economics or promote science in these sectors. Most regular HHSMA members are managers and directors of the National Health System (NHS) and private hospitals in Greece or active in the healthcare sector enterprises, as well as freelancers (healthcare management consultants).
