The United Nations University – Operating Unit on Electronic Governance is pleased to announce the publication of the "UNU-EGOV Art Challenge" catalogue. This contest was launched as part of our 10th-anniversary celebrations and aimed to promote art and artists within Portugal. The exhibition, which showcased the exceptional talent and creativity of our participants, has now concluded.
The catalogue features the selected works, including the top three prize-winning entries, awarded €1000, €500, and €250, respectively. The first prize was awarded to Vera Almeida, the second to Guilherme Couto, and the third to Arménio Rocha.
The jury, comprising Delfina Soares, Paulo Lopes Silva, and Paulo Freire de Almeida, evaluated the submissions based on creativity, technical excellence, and thematic relevance to UNU-EGOV’s mission and the Sustainable Development Goals.
We invite everyone to explore the catalog and appreciate the diverse and inspiring works that made this contest a success.
