As of September 2024, Andrijana Paljušević is a Visiting Fellow at the UNU-EGOV.
Her PhD thesis focuses on local communities and ways to engage citizens to provide insights and share concerns with local institutions and public administration. She seeks to understand how to restore trust between citizens, on the one hand, and citizens and institutions, on the other, and examine the concept of reciprocity as both an aim and a feature of high-trust societies.
While at the UNU-EGOV, she aims to delve deeper into the topic of an inclusive and human-centred approach to developing public services and decision-making processes.
She has previously worked with the UN specialised agencies, such as UNICEF and UNDP, as well as in Montenegro's public and civil sector on social cohesion, young people’s well-being, governance, and gender.
