Bianca is a UNU Research Fellow and Strategy and Policy Advisor at the newly reopened UNU Paris Office
Bianca Kodaira is a UNU Research Fellow and Strategy and Policy Advisor at the UNU Paris Office, strengthening the bridge between research and policy-making through executive briefings, high level dialogues, and stakeholder engagement across government, multilateral organizations, academia, and the private sector, with a focus on science diplomacy and strategic engagement.
Before joining the Paris Office, Bianca worked at the UNU Rector’s Office in Tokyo providing input to strategic planning, and system wide agenda setting, including executive analyses on Japanese politics and broader geopolitical developments. She also supported coordination with partners and event organisation.
Previously she served as a seconded National Expert (Policy Adviser) in the Strategic Policy Planning Division of the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels, and worked at the German Federal Foreign Office’s Stabilisation Unit.
Bianca holds a Master’s Degree from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and studied political science and international relations at Freie Universität Berlin, and King’s College London.
