About this course

Our Network Science and Economic Complexity for Policy is for students who want to develop quantitative skills and learn how to use complexity analysis and network science tools to support effective policymaking.

This online course is designed to give students an overview of the use of complexity analysis for economics and development policies, particularly focusing on methodologies and tools coming from network science.

Through collaborative group work, students will analyse trade and innovation networks, understanding the role of different countries in the global value chain. The course includes hands-on tasks and projects using Python to apply these concepts in practice.
