  • Causes of migration: functionalist and structuralist perspectives
  • Impacts of migration: migration and development
  • The continuation of migration: networks, migration systems and cumulative causation
  • Migration as an intrinsic part of development and change.

After completing this course, you will have the opportunity to take other online migration courses, including:

  • Course 2: Migration and Remittance Effects.
  • Course 3: Comparative Migration Policy.

I completed the suite of migration courses and found them to be intellectually invigorating. They were practical too as students are expected to apply theory to practice. They were some of the most challenging courses that I have even undertaken but the excellent support that i received brought out the very best in me. I can’t recommend these courses highly enought, try them - you won’t regret it
