Herman Pijpers joined Maastricht University in 2001 and prior to that, he worked as a webmaster at the European Journalism Centre in Maastricht.
At UNU-MERIT, he is webmaster and focal point for ICT matters. Additionally, he is the institute's photographer and captures events such as PhD defenses, conferences, and other events for the centre's websites, newsletters, and brochures. Herman is also partly responsible for maintenance of the building.
