Silvia Fancello works as Programme and Communications Associate at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH).
Prior to joining UNU-IIGH, Silvia built her expertise in advocacy and communications through roles across civil society and the UN system. Her experience includes serving as Communications Officer at WeWorld in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Junior Communications Consultant at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in Turin (Italy), and Communications and Advocacy Intern at Manushya Foundation in Bangkok (Thailand).
In her current role at UNU-IIGH, Silvia supports the Communications team by managing social media channels and the website, producing engaging visual and written content, and ensuring consistent application of UNU branding across all outputs. She supports the publication process for the UNU-IIGH’s knowledge products, manages the technical aspects of the Institute's webinars, and develops promotional materials and social media kits to enhance outreach, contributing to the Institute’s overall visibility.
