Yui joined UNU-IAS as a Research Assistant in the Governance for Sustainable Development project in April 2015. Prior to joining UNU-IAS, she worked as a research assistant in research projects focusing on social studies of Fukushima nuclear disaster risk governance since 2011. She graduated from Sophia University with a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Culture in 2010, and earned her master’s degree at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2012. At present, she is working on her PhD, while making good use of the research experience.
