Izumi Kashiwazaki is a Programme Assistant for the Postgraduate Degree and Training Programme.
She is mainly responsible for student support. Before joining UNU, she worked as a Japanese language teacher at several language schools, where she enjoyed interacting with students. Prior to that, she worked as an administrative officer in various industries including a Japanese research institute, a German software company, a Japanese third-party testing provider and a member firm of an international accounting firm.
Izumi holds a BA in German Literature from Sophia University.
