Farai Kapfudzaruwa holds a PhD in Business and Political Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His thesis explored the business contributions to climate change governance in areas of limited statehood in the case of South Africa and Kenya. He also holds an MPhil in Environmental Management from the University of Cape Town and a Bsc (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Science from Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. Prior to joining UNU, Farai Kapfudzaruwa was an Old Mutual Emerging Markets lecturer for three years at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
