In KARE we raise awareness of the multi- and interdisciplinary Resource Nexus approach and its crucial benefits for building resilience and achieving sustainable development. We educate the next generation (today’s youth) through the Resource Nexus postgraduate school. We influence policy and practice by engaging with today’s scientists, practitioners, decision makers through a range of capacity building offerings, with a specific focus on those within the UN system and its Member States. Based on our knowledgebase of case studies, good practice for applying the Resource Nexus approach is developed, refined and integrated into our capacity development, training and academic programmes.
