The International Day of Forests on 21 March will be celebrated under the theme "Forests and sustainable production and consumption". To celebrate the Day and raise awareness of the importance of forests, the UNU Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) is joining UN-REDD on Instagram Live for the Science Talk, "The Superpowers of Forests". The event will feature Zita Sebesvari, Deputy Director at UNU-EHS, and Mario Boccucci, Head of the UN-REDD Programme.
The event will be held at 10:00 (UTC+1) on the Instagram accounts of UNU-EHS, UN-REDD and UN Bonn.
