The application period to join the 2025 intake of the joint Master’s Programme, Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security, is now officially open. The programme, which is jointly run by UNU-EHS and the Department of Geography at the University of Bonn, takes students through a curriculum that navigates the complex relationship between humans and nature.
It bridges natural and social sciences as students gain knowledge on risks, natural hazards, vulnerability, resilience and adaptation. Students are prepared to take up careers in a variety of fields such as research, disaster risk management, humanitarian affairs and environmental and climate policy. The programme is in Bonn, Germany, where classes are held on the UN Campus and at the University of Bonn, putting students near the heart of international climate policy and in a major research hub.
The application period will end on 15 December. To learn how to apply click here.
