The overarching aim of the Digital Transformation Agenda for the Republic of Armenia (DTAA) was to develop a national strategy to position Armenia as an internationally competitive digital country. The growing importance of digitalization for economic growth required building a strong strategy to transform Armenia into one of the digital champions in region.

Activities

  • Organise a 'think digital' workshop for key Armenian stakeholders (public, private, civil society) hosted by the PM and Deputy PM and the Center for Strategic Initiatives (CS).

  • Organise a public brainstorming and consultation workshop in Yerevan in close cooperation with CSI and Digital Armenian Foundation (DAF) and relevant stakeholders.

  • Based on the results from consultations with stakeholders, develop the vision, strategy, initial list of initiatives, success criteria, and key performance indicators for the Digital Transformation Agenda/Strategy for the Republic of Armenia 2018-2030. 

  • Deliver capacity development and knowledge transfer on a train-the-trainer basis for Armenian civil servants.
