Workshop on GovTech Innovation and Digital Governance Held in Cabo Verde

From May 8th to 13th, 2024, UNU-EGOV organized Workshop on Co-Creation and Capacity Building took place at TechPark CV’s Incubation Center.

The event aimed to foster innovation in digital governance and establish a GovTech Lab for Cabo Verde. Erico Przeybilovicz, lead researcher from UNU-EGOV, steered the study and facilitated dynamic workshops.

GovTech Lab Vision: Attendees gained insights into the vision, structure, and operational model of Cabo Verde’s GovTech Lab.

Efficiency and Sustainability: The workshop emphasized the benefits of adopting a GovTech innovation model and how it can enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Project Context

The workshop is part of the African Union – European Union (AU-EU) Digital for Development (D4D) Hub, implemented by LuxDev. Co-financed by the EU, the project involves collaboration with Enabel, GIZ, MFA Estonia, e-GA, ITL, AFD, Expertise France, and LuxDev.
