On Monday, 29 July, Morten Meyerhoff, Principal Research Specialist at the United Nations University – Operating Unit on Policy-driven Electronic Governance (UNU‑EGOV), visited the Center for Technology in Government (CTG) at the University at Albany.
During the visit, Morten Meyerhoff delivered a presentation on the work of the United Nations University and UNU‑EGOV, highlighting his international experience and reflecting on the opportunities and challenges associated with digital transformation.
The Center for Technology in Government has a longstanding connection with the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV), having co-organized the first edition of the conference in 2007, as well as organizing and hosting the 2012 edition on its campus. Theresa Pardo, Associate Vice President for Research at the University at Albany, also served for several years on the ICEGOV Steering Committee.
Although informal, the visit provided an opportunity for a meaningful exchange and discussion, further strengthening the collaboration between the UNU‑EGOV and the Center for Technology in Government.
