Apisara Law-ariya is Research Assistant (Intern) at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research.

Apisara Law-ariya is a diplomat from Thailand and a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, concentrating in International Security Policy and specializing in International Conflict Resolution. At UNU-CPR, she supports work on global governance and multilateral diplomacy, with a focus on peacebuilding and regional security in East Asia.

Apisara has served in various capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand since 2019, including as a diplomat responsible for high-level policy reporting, executive briefings, and comparative policy analysis. She also contributed to project management and regional affairs as a news analyst and project officer. Earlier in her career, she gained international experience at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo and in the private sector at Booking.com.

Apisara holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Chulalongkorn University, where she held several leadership roles in student-led initiatives. She is committed to advancing multilateral diplomacy and regional peace through evidence-based policy and international cooperation.
