We are excited to share the launch of, "Power and Accountability: Shaping Governance for Global Health Equity", marking the launch of UNU-IIGH’s new programme of work on Power and Accountability.

The term global health governance means different things to different people. Similarly, accountability is understood and practised differently by different actors in the global health system. In this first of a three-part webinar series, we explored the term global health governance and presented a definition of good global health governance that incorporates accountability as a core feature. In doing so, we unpacked the concept of accountability and discussed the kinds of accountability relationships and mechanisms that are consistent with the idea of good global health governance.
