Gender inequalities significantly impact the delivery, access, and uptake of vaccination and immunization coverage. This short course delves into the interventions designed to address these gaps, offering a comprehensive exploration of how gender influences healthcare access and effectiveness across different stages of life. It also identifies gender related vaccination and immunization barriers, opportunities and solutions based on country level experiences. The focus is on a life-course approach that considers how gender issues affect childhood, adolescence, and adult vaccinations and immunization. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the barriers and opportunities related to gender inequalities in vaccination efforts and learn how to develop and implement inclusive, equitable vaccination strategies. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote gender equity in immunization.
