Dr Ian Askew is Principal Visiting Fellow at UNU-IIGH.
Dr Askew is Director of the Department of Reproductive Health and Research at WHO, also directs the Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP). HRP is the UN co-sponsored programme mandated to coordinate, support and undertake research on all aspects of sexual and reproductive health and rights, including maternal and perinatal health, and to strengthen research capacity globally through an Alliance of partner institutions.
