Kozue Tatsuhara is a Programme Assistant for the Innovation and Education Programme.

A graduate of Waseda University, she holds an MA and BA in International Relations with a specialization in International Environmental Policy. Prior to joining UNU-IAS, she worked for the Secretariat Office of a Japanese automobile manufacturer. She also worked at Waseda University as a research assistant for a project on Japan’s nuclear safety regulations after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake. Her experience of the Sumatra Earthquake Tsunami in 2007 inspired her to start learning about sustainable development when she was a high school student.

Kozue has a special interest in early childhood education related to sustainable development. She hopes to dedicate her career to creating a sustainable future for people and the planet.
