What is it about?
The ‘Case studies in Government responses to the Covid-19 pandemic’ is part of the Gender and Digital Health Webinar Series. The webinar dissects the ways technology been used to address women’s health needs and assess the gaps.

Who is part of it?
The Gender and Digital Health Webinar Series is organised by a consortium between UNU IIGH, The University of Cape Town and BBC Media Action. This session had the participation of Dr Theresa Diaz, Unit Head of Epidemiology, Monitoring & Evaluation Unit, MNCA from WHO; Professor Andrew Boulle from Western Cape Department of Health; Juan Antonio Perez, Executive Director from the Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) of the Philippines; Dr J. Radhakrishnan, Principal Secretary from Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu as speakers. The session also had the participation of guest discussant Kenechukw from UNDP.
Protecting the progress will require multi-sectoral coordination, strengthening health service delivery, citizen engagement and community empowerment. - Theresa Diaz
