In a collective effort to champion sustainability through data-driven innovation, the United Nations University (UNU-FLORES), in collaboration with UNU-INWEH, is set to unveil the groundbreaking Sustainability Nexus AID (Analytics, Informatics, and Data) Programme on November 27-28, 2023, in Dresden, Germany. This event marks the introduction of UNU’s new collaborative program, focusing on leveraging advanced data, cutting-edge analytics tools, and the development of a global network of leading AID experts to address complex sustainability challenges through a sustainability nexus approach.
Objective:
The primary goal of this kickoff workshop is to introduce the Sustainability Nexus AID Program to external audiences. Specific objectives include:
- Providing comprehensive insights into the program’s structure, objectives, anticipated outcomes, and its significant role in advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Gathering feedback on potential pathways for expansion, collaboration, and future activities.
Expected Outcome:
By the conclusion of the workshop, the following outcomes are anticipated:
- Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the AID program’s objectives, its alignment with the UN SDGs, and the critical role each module plays in addressing specific sustainability challenges.
