UNU-FLORES has launched a limited podcast series, Beyond Silos: Dresden Nexus Podcast, building on the momentum of the Dresden Nexus Conference which was held earlier this year. The series features conversations with diverse stakeholders, from researchers and policymakers to ambassadors, who attended the event.
The Resource Nexus approach, championed by the global Nexus community, emphasizes addressing challenges holistically rather than in silos. This podcast series is a special initiative that extends the ethos of the Dresden Nexus Conference to a wider audience.
Hosted by Atiqah Fairuz Salleh, Advisor for Strategic Initiatives at UNU-FLORES, each episode explores Nexus issues in an engaging, conversational format. She notes that “As the United Nations University celebrates 50 years of global impact, our podcast series captures the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines UNU. This series gives listeners direct access to the leaders, thinkers, and innovators driving change across water, energy, food, and other resource systems – to inspire action for the future of our resources."
The podcast series premiered on Spotify and will be made available on other platforms.
