Qi Wu is an Adjunct Professor at UNU-FLORES and an Associate Professor at the Kyoto University of Advanced Science and Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration of Kobe University in Japan.
Currently, her work is focused on “The establishment of an environmental accounting system towards a circular economy”. She previously worked on the Environment Research and Technology Development Fund research project, which Japan’s Ministry of the Environment has led since 2016 to research “Policy Design and Evaluation to Ensure Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns in Asian Region”. This project examined and compared the development of effective environmental management control systems in companies in Thailand and Vietnam. In recent years, her main areas of expertise have included environmental management control systems, sustainability accounting, natural capital accounting and SDGs.
