Prashant Kumar is a Doctoral Researcher in the Joint Junior Researcher Programme of Technische Universität Dresden and UNU-FLORES.

He is working on the topic “Extended Cost-Benefit Analysis for Sustainable Green Transformation Programs of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in South Asian Developing Countries” where his research explores the most effective adaptation and mitigation measures in cases of limited resource availability. This project intends to support Governments in developing green transformation policies and sustainable economies.

   Before joining UNU-FLORES, he worked in multiple international and national organizations focusing on sustainable economic development, livelihood projects, technology and social development. Prashant has grass-root level experience in community development, capacity building, and socio-economic development based on social research projects, resource optimisation and consultancy.
