The United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) is excited to announce the “Primavera En’Coro” Choir Meeting as part of the celebrations of its 10th anniversary. The event will take place this Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9:30 PM, at the historic Paço dos Duques de Bragança in Guimarães.
The concert will feature performances by "Coro En’Canto", "Grupo Coral de Ponte", and "Coral Santo Condestável", all under the artistic direction of the esteemed Maestra Marisa Oliveira. Pianist Simão Neto will also grace the stage, adding to an evening of captivating musical performances. Over 100 choristers will take the audience on a musical journey around the world, reflecting the multicultural spirit that defines the United Nations University and the broader UN system.
This special event is part of the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of UNU-EGOV, which has been based at the Couros Campus in Guimarães since 2014. The official anniversary ceremony will be held on May 23, 2024, at 2:45 PM, at the Centro Cultural Vila Flor. The ceremony will feature the Rector of the United Nations University, Tshilidzi Marwala, along with numerous distinguished guests from various governments and international organizations.
