Mário Meira holds the role of Finance Assistant at UNU-EGOV since August 2014.
His responsibilities at UNU-EGOV are related to financial management, human resource management, asset management, procurement management and programme support. Before joining UNU, he was the Secretary of the Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing (EDAM) at the MIT Portugal Program, University of Minho, which is a strategic partnership between Portuguese Universities and Research Centres, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and partners from industry and government.
Mário Meira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Brunel University (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the School of Engineering at the University of Minho (Portugal). He holds a post-graduate course in High Management Course in Public Administration from the University of Minho and also holds a Higher Certification in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
