Moustafa Ahmad is currently a Government Fellow at UNU-EGOV. He is also a judge at the Egyptian Council of State (Administrative Judiciary). During the last four years, he has been part of a team of few young judges responsible for the process of managing the mega project of automation and digitisation of the judicial process. The objective of the project is to transform into the full automation of the litigation process and providing full e-Services to litigants and citizens. The responsibilities include the design, strategic planning, leading the change management process, and supervise the implementation of the project. He is also as the principal legal advisor of the National Management Institute in Egypt, which is the core national agency responsible for governance, public service reform and the use of modern technology in the public administration of different government entities. His areas of expertise include the public administration, court governance, administration of justice, the use of digital transformation of judicial services, transparency and accountability of public institutions, and personal data protection.
