Joanna Rodrigues is a Research Assistant at the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV). She is graduated in Communication Sciences by the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal), where she also obtained her MSc in Communication Sciences, more specifically in the area of Advertising and Public Relations. Her research interests are focused on Smart Cities, Media and Information Literacy, Organizational and Strategic Communication, and Communication and Climate Change. Her Master Thesis was developed in the field of Strategic Communication, particularly focused on the Internal Communication Audit she implemented at Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, which assessed some major communication problems and suggested solutions to improve processes.
