Hamed Al Shekaili is currently a Government Fellow at the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV). He is also a Senior Executive Statistics at the Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman. Hamed holds a BSc in Statistics from the Sultan Qaboos University, Oman (2004). He has been certified as Associate in Business Analysis by the George Washington University (2016). He is interested in e-Government measurement, as he has a wide experience in designing, managing and analyzing a number of national ICT Access and Usage Surveys and Feedback Surveys. In addition, he is an assessor of national government portal/websites performing within a dedicated team for improving the citizen-centric services provided and country competitiveness in the global reports. He is a member in International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Expert Group on Household ICT Statistics (EGH), and Expert Group on Telecommunication Indicators (EGTI).
