Inês Campos Ruas is a Junior Research Assistant at the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV) since 2022.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development, from UNU-MERIT, where she specialises in Government of Innovation. During her master's thesis research, she worked with two “Portugal Inovação Social” projects, trying to understand the impact these projects were having and the policy recommendations that could be drawn from them.
Related to the topic of Social Innovation, she was working in the Portuguese Association for Social Innovation, as a Project Manager, prior to joining UNU-EGOV. Before doing her master, she worked in the health sector for three years, which was important for doing an internship at the UNU-International Institute of Global Health. Here, her research work focused on Foresight, where the institution wanted to develop a research database for, mainly, internal capacity-building purposes.
