Prof. Roswitha Böhm is Vice-Rector University Culture and Internationalization at Dresden University of Technology TUD.
Prof. Roswitha Böhm has served as Vice-Rector for University Culture and Internationalisation at Dresden University of Technology TUD since 2025, having previously held the position of Vice-Rector for University Culture from 2020 to 2025. She has been Professor of French Literature and Cultural Studies at TUD since 2014. Throughout her academic career, she has held positions at Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, the University of Duisburg-Essen, and the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald. Prof. Böhm earned her doctorate in Romance Philology from TU Berlin in 2002 and completed her habilitation at Freie Universität Berlin in 2012.
In her leadership role, Prof. Böhm promotes initiatives that enhance diversity, inclusion, international cooperation, sustainability, and institutional resilience. She is dedicated to cultivating an open, participatory, and globally engaged university culture while supporting strategic partnerships and the internationalisation of research and teaching to tackle contemporary global challenges.
