Dr. Ferdinand Tornyie is a Research Fellow in UNU-INRA.
He has several years of experience working as a Researcher Scientist at Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Institute of Industrial Research, and as an adjunct lecturer/consultant, at the University of Cape Coast-Department of Conservation Biology and Entomology, Ghana. He is currently a researcher on two-WASCAL project on Greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation options under climate and land use change in West Africa -CONCERT & LANDSURF (coordinator), Just Energy Transition in Informal Sector (JUSTIS), Innovate for Clean Agrotech Technologies (INFOCAT), Economic Implication of Stranded Assets, and African Facility for Transitions Research (AFTER Carbon). He has expertise and research interest in clean energy solutions and climate change mitigation, with emphasis on clean cooking technologies and testing, just energy transition and social behaviour change toward clean energy solutions.
