Led by world experts, this course covers core concepts of IR, including identifying challenges of various health settings, assessing the appropriateness of existing strategies, and developing new interventions and strategies in collaboration with communities and other stakeholders. The course also guides participants through formulating IR questions, designing rigorous research projects, identifying key IR outcomes, evaluating effectiveness, and planning for large-scale implementation.
Course Length: 6 weeks (total 15 hours, 2.5 hours per week)
Target Audience: Public health researchers and decision-makers, disease control program managers, academics, and others interested in designing and implementing robust implementation research projects to improve control of infectious diseases of poverty and generate better health outcomes.
