Integrating an intersectional gender perspective into implementation research is crucial for addressing the complex and overlapping inequalities that influence public health outcomes. This is particularly important in understanding the role of sex, gender and intersectional factors in the context of delivering interventions.
This course aims to enhance critical skills and provide hands-on training on implementation research projects that incorporate gender dimensions and other intersecting inequalities. It also equips participants with the knowledge to apply intersectional approaches in research design, evaluation, and commissioning, ensuring that studies effectively address structural inequities.
