Dr. Suthan Kaveri is a medical doctor, early-career public health researcher, health technology entrepreneur, and implementation science practitioner dedicated to advancing digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), and data-driven innovation to strengthen health systems across Asia and beyond.
As the Founder & CEO of ePink Health, he champions accessible, patient-centred, and sustainable technology-enabled healthcare solutions that improve healthcare delivery, population health, and health equity. He obtained his medical degree from Kursk State Medical University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Malaya. He is also a Certified Monitoring and Evaluation Foundation Practitioner and a Certified Enterprise AI Practitioner, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based programme evaluation and the responsible application of AI in healthcare and public health. His research interests span digital health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, big health data, health informatics, information and communications technology (ICT), monitoring and evaluation, statistical modelling, implementation science, health policy, health services research, health systems strengthening, impact evaluation, medical anthropology, entrepreneurship, and healthcare innovation. His work also focuses on the social and structural determinants of health, community engagement, citizen science, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), mental health, health misinformation, and the ethical implementation of emerging health technologies. He is particularly interested in applying AI, real-world data, and digital innovations to inform evidence-based policy, improve health outcomes, and reduce health inequities. Dr. Suthan currently serves as HealthTech, AI & Digital Health Advisor to the JCE Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation at Jain College of Engineering, Karnataka, India. He has also served as a Technical Evaluator for the Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science and Technology (CREST), contributing expertise in digital health technologies, medical innovation, and health technology assessment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Principal COVID-19 Vaccination Coordinator at the National Cancer Society Malaysia, supporting vaccination operations, public health coordination, programme implementation, and community engagement. As an independent medical device regulatory consultant, he advises healthcare innovators, startups, and organisations on regulatory strategy, healthcare compliance, digital health technologies, and innovation pathways. An active international trainer, speaker, and guest lecturer, Dr. Suthan has delivered AI in healthcare training programmes for approximately 1,200 specialist physicians in Bangladesh, focusing on AI-assisted clinical practice, digital transformation, and emerging technologies in medicine. He is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, research capacity building, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and translating research into practice through partnerships with governments, academia, healthcare institutions, industry, and international organisations. His work aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly advancing good health and well-being, reducing inequalities, promoting sustainable economic growth, fostering sustainable cities and communities, and addressing the health impacts of climate change. Through research, innovation, policy engagement, and entrepreneurship, Dr. Suthan continues to contribute to building equitable, resilient, and future-ready healthcare systems regionally and globally.
