Sridhar Patra (India) is a PhD researcher in the Soil and Land-Use Management unit at UNU-FLORES. His research focus is on establishing impact of soil erosion on soil organic carbon dynamics in agro-ecosystems using modelling as well as experimental approaches. Before joining UNU-FLORES, Patra has been working for the past 10 years as a scientist for ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. He has been involved in research, development and training in soil and water conservation in different agro-ecological regions of India. Patra obtained his Bachelor in Agricultural Engineering from the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology in India and Master in Water Resources Development and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
