Yubin Yang is a Research Assistant at UNU-FLORES working on Sustainability Transformation and Resource Nexus research.
Yubin’s research focuses on applying the Resource Nexus approach to electronic products and end-of-life electric vehicle batteries, examining environmental resources and interconnections associated with these systems. She also contributes to the Global Water and Climate Adaptation Centre (ABCD-Centre), where she supports research and coordination on climate adaptation and sustainable water resource management. Her work contributes to UNU-FLORES’ mission of promoting integrated and resource-efficient solutions for sustainable development.
Drawing on her background in environmental science and education, she supports the Knowledge Academy for the Resource Nexus (KARE), contributing to capacity development and knowledge exchange. Her work reflects UNU-FLORES’ commitment to integrating science, policy, and practice in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
