The United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), in partnership with the UN agencies in Malaysia, hosts the seminar series “Working Local, Thinking Global: Engaging Evidence in Policy Making towards the SDGs.”

On 21 April at 14:00 (UTC+8), the series will welcome World Health Organization (WHO) Representative Rabindra Abeyasinghe who will discuss the importance of evidence in health policymaking and WHO’s broader work in Malaysia.

Now on its third year, the series provides a forum for intellectual discussion about the work of the UN towards the achievement of the SDGs and brings together academics, researchers, and civil society members from across Malaysia to meet and engage with their counterparts in the UN system.

The event will be hosted on Zoom (register here) and live-streamed on UNU-IIGH social networks including YouTubeTwitterLinkedIn, and Facebook.
