Under the theme of “Circular Economy in a Sustainable Society”, the Dresden Nexus Conference 2020 (DNC2020) focused on the question "How can the sustainable use of environmental resources be better achieved through principles of the circular economy, and what role does the Nexus Approach play?"

Following the on discussion initiated at DNC2020, this webinar — Towards a Nexus Knowledge Agenda: From Knowledge to Action — will present and discuss cutting-edge experiences on testing nexus approaches in practice, identify factors that establish successful nexus-compliant decision-making, and explore gaps in the current understanding.

Co-convened by UNU-FLORES and the Nexus Project Cluster, this 19 April webinar will focus on key building blocks of the Nexus Approach from biophysical, socioeconomic, and policy perspectives. The aim is to provide a platform for exchanging good practice examples and success stories to encourage joint action and prepare the ground for further nexus implementation.

For more, see the webinar announcement on the UNU-FLORES website.
