From 11 July to 17 August 2025, UNU, in partnership with the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, will display “Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings”. The exhibition comprises photographs of and information on the devastation caused by the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, as well as the current global situation of nuclear disarmament and movements towards peace.
On 11 July and weekends, there will also be a virtual reality (VR) corner, where visitors can use VR headsets to experience the transition from before the bombing to post-reconstruction in Hiroshima.
Venue
The exhibition is located on the second floor of the United Nations University Headquarters in Tokyo. Admission is free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required.

The exhibition is closed on UNU holidays* (21 July, 11 August).
